Robert W. Madden

As a staff photographer for National Geographic Magazine for over 15 years, I produced the photographs for more than twenty stories (wrote some, too), and for several National Geographic books. Travels across all seven continents exposed me to an extraordinary diversity of cultures and customs.

The photography of William Jobes is accented by a life-long photojournalist’s perspective of the world around him.

He is a career print and broadcast journalist, whose experience includes news and sports photojournalism, as well as reporting and editing on staff at several major daily newspapers. His work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Star, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and USA Today, among countless others.

William Jobes’ broadcast experience includes both commercial and public television. He is the recipient of numerous journalism and photography awards and honors, including several Emmys.
